Welcome to Access Health and Community’s Medical Clinic at 378 Burwood Road, Hawthorn.

We offer a range of general practice medical and nursing services for the whole family, from newborn babies to older people.

We also provide support to prevent illness, disease and injury. Video and telehealth appointments are available where possible. We offer bulk billing to a range of patients who are eligible under Medicare.

Dr Huang studied in China before moving to Australia to continue her practice. Since living in Australia she has worked as a general practitioner across many states. She is involved in the dementia drug clinical trial research in Queensland.

Dr Dunitha Jayasinghe

Dr Jayasinghe graduated from Monash University and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

With hospital experience in areas of general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, geriatrics and emergency medicine, Dr Jayasinghe has been a GP for over fourteen years.

She has had varied general practice experience including country Victoria and the inner eastern suburbs.

Dr Depak Naran

General Practitioner, Male

Dr Naran has over 40 years of experience in general practice. He relocated to Melbourne from Perth in 2024.

His special interests are chronic disease management, paediatrics, men’s health, sports injuries, muscular skeletal problems, sexual health and providing care and wellbeing for the entire family.

Dr Olszewski has been a Medical Director of AccessHC for more than 10 years. He has extensive experience in private general practice. Dr Olszewski is a past Medical Advisor to Medicare and past Chair of Southcity GP Services and Bayside Medicare Local (now South East Melbourne PHN).

He leads the medical and nursing services for AccessHC.

Dr Jenny Shao

General Practitioner, Female

Dr Jenny Shao finished her medical training in 1982 and obtained a Master Degree in Medicine and Diploma in Immunology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Shao’s areas of interests are women’s health, aged care and family medicine. She believes family medicine is most important to the health and well-being of our local community. Dr Shao is keen to help those from disadvantaged groups such as patients with drug and alcohol or mental health challenges. She has volunteered at Asylum Seeker Resource Center for the last 12 years.
